My Moose~ He is SO in style....
Can you guess what year it was?

Debbie from One Vintage Hag... http://onevintagehag.blogspot.com/2009/06/tagged-by-sue-sullivan-murphy-6-things.html tagged me for a little game where she asked me to share 6 things about myself that will help you get to know me so much better...

I have been desperate for something new to blog about... here it goes....
1) I am one of those rare people that successfully met my husband on a blind date, a few months later we were engaged and a year later.... The Big Wedding! I have been married to Reid 27 years (His name was Moose when we met, but my MOM told me that I was not allowed to marry a Moose, therefore his name changed). He is truly my best friend and is the BEST ROLE MODEL for my children.
2) Two children... Chase, 25, recently engaged to the most wonderful and beautiful girl~ Jackie! I was so proud of all of the effort that he put into his proposal! Whitney is my beautiful 21 year old daughter at Auburn University. A true Romantic through and through!
3) I have lived with a chronic illness for 19 years.... I have IVIG treatments every month and my life is like a rollercoaster~ One day up, two days down.
4) I became an artist out of desperation of surviving my last child leaving the nest! It was a gift that God had placed in my heart years and years ago.
5) I have very few friends that have been steady.... It is hard for most to understand a chronic illness and except it. Also, I hate to burden people with the fact that I cannot be there for them always and as I guess it really is true.... You have to be a friend to have a friend! I cannot ever express enough to the girls who have been so solid through the years.... For being the friend when I could not return the friendship.....You know who you are, I love you so much and your friendship is one of the greatest gifts that I have received!
6) #6 is the most important~ My happiness and success is found through Jesus Christ. He is the reason that I roll out of bed every morning and the reason I go to bed every night with a smile and thankfulness in my heart. It is though Him that I survive some days! I know He has a purpose for this battered body and I hope every day that I meet His will for my life!
