Blessings Rain Down On Us In 2009....

Would it not be amazing if as Christians we all came together and prayed for God's Blessings to rain down on us in 2009 as a nation? Can you imagine what a difference that would make? What if every morning we woke up with the attitude that we were going to make a difference in someone's life that day, or even had the attitude that we made a difference in our own life?

Every morning that we wake up is a gift from God. We can be happy or we be grumpy. The first person we greet that day, we can greet them with a smile and good morning or we could totally snub them. See, God gives us all of these wonderful choices and the choices that we make can not only make others feel better, believe it or not, the choices can make us feel better. When I greet people with a smile and conversation, I know I am making a difference in their life and my life. More importantly I am doing what God wants me to do!

One of the greatest joys I ever had was when God led me to take a year to send secret packages to people. Each month I sent a few different small gifts to different individuals that I felt needed to be encouraged. I never put my name on the package, it was sent out of love. I felt so blessed and I know the people receiving the gifts that year were blessed. I think God had a greater lesson to learn and that lesson was for ME in the joy of giving and being an encourager.

God is so good ~ All the time!

Our nation needs to be encouraged, prayed for and loved!
